Yes, the Vikings have invested a lot into developing Jackson to be their franchise QB, but he has been inconsistent during training camp so far, throwing as many interceptions as touchdown passes. He’s thrown more INTs (16) than TDs (11) so far in his career, and there is going to be nothing different about this year.

The Vikings haven’t had a legitimate stud at quarterback since Fran Tarkenton. The bottom line is Favre takes the Vikings further into the playoffs than Jackson ever will, maybe even to the Super Bowl.
