This Week in Sports June 14th - 20th

Now as I get down off my soap box I think it’s a good time to mention that the College World Series is going on in Omaha, Nebraska! So why am I excited? It’s not because I give a crap about who wins the College World Series, it’s because it means that baseball fans will be treated to TWO WEEKS of Erin Andrews at the College World Series!!

A whopping 11 kids have made it to Thursday night’s finals of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. I don’t know which is more shocking; the fact that 11 kids made the finals or that Spelling is actually considered a sport! Still I’d like to wish good luck to all of the kids, except for the home schooled kids because they’re just f-ing creepy.
