#5 Florida State
#12 Wisconsin
March 20th
Did you Know?
Florida State’s Toney Douglas may average 21 points a game… but no other Seminole averages over 10 points a game. The Wisconsin Badgers, however, have three players who average between 10-12 points… but nothing more (Marcus Landry, Trevon Hughes, Jason Bohannon).

Did you Know Part 2?
Florida State is one of only two ACC schools that have had at least one player selected in each of the last four NBA Drafts.

NFL First Round Mock Draft Picks #13-22
#13 – Washington Redskins – Everette Brown, DE, Florida State

The Redskins will likely be looking to improve their offensive line in this draft, but I think they’ll take a close look at some defensive ends that will be available in the middle of the first round. The Jason Taylor acquisition failed to have a big impact, and Washington ranked 28th in the NFL in sacks this year. While Texas’ Brian Orakpo and Georgia Tech’s Michael Johnson are better athletes and physical specimens, Everette Brown might simply be the better football player. Vernon Ghostlon had great numbers at the Combine last year, but couldn’t earn a spot on defense this season after the Jets drafted him 6th. As a result, teams might weigh game performance more heavily this year, and Everette Brown had 21.5 tackles for a loss and 13.5 sacks for Florida State.

It’s the age old question, power or speed? The Champ Sports Bowl aims to answer that, as the senior power of Wisconsin take on the youthful speed of Florida State in sunny Orlando, Florida (I know, I’m here!) So let’s take a look at the Champs Sports Bowl.

To The Death: Bobby Bowden or Joe Paterno?
It is clear that neither Bobby Bowden or Joe Paterno will retire while the other is still coaching. Bowden has the most career wins in college football, a record he’s willing to take to the grave, literally. With JoePa just 1 game behind Bowden, foolish pride simply won’t let these 2 dinosaurs walk away.
JoePa is [...]
